Award for Best Brief of 2021
A good brief is not an easy document to create. That’s why Brandkind decided to give out an award for the best briefs of 2021. Find out what makes a good brief and who was behind the best ones we received.
The roots of a great campaign or marketing concept can often be traced back to a good brief. A well-defined brief document gives us at the agency a clear direction, understanding of expectations and a goal to work towards. When we know who we want to affect, in what way and for what reason, our job becomes easier and the accuracy and speed of work often improves. But sometimes the starting point is knowing that we have to do something, but don’t exactly know what. This is completely acceptable, too. That’s when defining and writing down the brief together – client and agency – is especially important. Having the same goals, expectations and defined KPIs to work towards ensure a better result and happier client every time.
The recipient of Brandkind’s first ever customer award for the Best Briefs of 2021 said it well. “A good brief is the foundation that a successful project and cooperation is built on.” We at Brandkind couldn’t agree more. The recipient of this award is known here at our offices as someone who takes the time to put together a comprehensive and clear brief that provides the needed background information as well as clearly defined objectives and expectations. The award is not just our praise and adoration, but also includes a donation of €500 made to a charity of their choosing.
The first ever Brandkind Award for Best Brief goes to Tiina Tausta of Metso Outotec.
After much deliberation, Tiina has selected to direct her donation to SOS-lapsikylä ry. “I want it to go towards the well-being of children and young people. It is so important for kids to be able to be active and have hobbies where they can interact and enjoy themselves. Unfortunately, way too often those hobbies may be out of reach due to money.” We whole-heartedly join Tiina in hoping that this donation will go a long way in helping at least one child participate in a hobby or activity of their choosing.
Congratulations Tiina. Keep the great briefs coming.
