Brandkind processes personal data for the following purposes:

Employee management

Employment management, legal compliance, and operational needs.

Customer relationship management

Delivering services which a client has subscribed to or ordered. Personal data is also used for the management and analysis of customer relations, as well as the production of services, business development and planning, as well as market research and customer communication.

Marketing

Brandkind may also use the personal data it collects for marketing purposes, such as our company newsletter. An individual has, at any time, the right to withdraw their consent for the use of their data in marketing purposes either by using the contact details provided in this privacy statement or by exercising the opt-out possibility given in the marketing communications (Click the “unsubscribe” link).

Brandkind does not sell or disclose the personal data it processes for any reason.

  • Data as a result of a visit to our website, such as data that is processed to keep a record of the number of visitors of our website.

How we secure your personal data

Brandkind applies technical and organizational measures to secure your personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorized distribution or unauthorized access. We ensure the information security competence of our own personnel starting from the beginning of their employment. Our Information security policy is binding for Brandkind’s own personnel, 3rd parties (subcontractors, partners, etc.) and suppliers of information systems. For us, information security is everyone’s business.

Transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA

Brandkind may use external service providers as data processors, such as an email marketing platform or a meeting booking application. They process personal data on behalf of Brandkind only for the provision of services to Brandkind. The service providers have no independent right to use the personal data for any independent purposes.

The personal data is mainly processed within the EU/EEA but in can also be processed outside EU/EEA. Brandkind will only transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA in accordance with one of the legal grounds described below:

  • the recipient country is regarded by the European Commission to provide adequate protection for your personal data;
  • we have put in place appropriate safeguards for the transfer by using the standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data to third countries issued by the European Commission; or

Storage period of personal data 

Brandkind stores your personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes of use stated above or the fulfilment of statutory obligations. When the personal data we have collected is no longer needed, we destroy or erase it in a secure manner.

Data subject’s rights

Data protection legislation guarantees data subjects several rights regarding their personal data. Among other things, the user of Brandkind’s services has the right to check the personal data stored on them. When the processing of the personal data of a Brandkind user is based on the user’s consent, the user has the right to withdraw the consent they have given at any time.

At the request of a user, we will rectify, erase, or complete any personal data, at any time.

Users have the right to file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority concerning the processing of a user’s personal data carried out by Brandkind, should the user perceive Brandkind not to have processed the user’s data as required by the applicable data protection legislation, or if the user’s requests related to their rights guaranteed by law have not been implemented appropriately.

Automated data collection 

Brandkind employs common digital marketing methods and tools to gather data on your movements on our website. This data is collected to improve the usability and content of our website, target advertising, and marketing, as well as to investigate the interests of visitors. For the most part, such data is gathered with the help of cookies (see below) and does not allow for attribution to a person.
