Taking a digital-first approach to refreshing a brand
For more than 40 years, Pesmel has been a leading designer and manufacturer of material flow solutions in industrial handling, packing, storing, and logistics. With a focus on efficiency, they help their customers achieve operational flexibility by ensuring quality and accuracy and improved turnaround speed.
But even the most successful companies sometimes need a rebranding, and in 2019 Pesmel asked Brandkind to develop a new brand identity to help consolidate their market position in the years to come. In particular, they wanted to be in a strong position in terms of the digital transformation and internationalization of their business. This meant creating a digital-first marketing approach and corporate identity – only the logo was left untouched.
A strong and recognizable identity with an improved online presence
To fulfil the brief, we designed an entirely new framework for Pesmel’s visual identity. The website was completely redesigned not only in terms of visual appearance and appeal, but also to improve the user experience (UI/UX), making it easier for customers to find the relevant information they need.
Pesmel’s customers and partners have reacted very positively to the new website’s look and functionality. A stronger online presence has also helped support sales efforts when face-to-face encounters have not been possible.
Quality content and future opportunities
Providing consistency across all sales and marketing materials is also important, so as a part of our cooperation, we created templates for presentations, brochures, and other media for use by their marketing department. Now all their documents boast the same clear and stylish visual elements, allowing their team to present information in as effective a way as possible. Brandkind also plays an important design and editorial role in the creation of Pesmel’s customer magazines.
The new website, which has been the first outing for the redesigned Pesmel’s brand identity, has been a positive and smooth experience for both parties.
